Youth Clubs  

American Red Cross Clubs are school-based organizations that are led and run by students. Clubs organize and participate in projects that benefit their communities, schools, homes and in some cases, the world.Currently, there are 6 active Red Cross clubs throughout San Luis Obispo County.  Check and see if your school is on the list!

What do Red Cross Clubs Do?

What don’t they do?! Red Cross clubs have organized and participated in many activities benefiting communities locally, nationally and internationally. They have:
  • Raised money to vaccinate children against measles in Africa (the Measles Initiative).
  • Participated in beach clean ups.
  • Taught Basic Aid Training to elementary school children.
  • Raised money for the Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund.
  • Volunteered at the Oceano Boys and Girls Club and other non-profits.
  • Organized food drives and prepared food for the homeless.
  • Been trained in CPR and First Aid.
  • Tutored elementary school children after school.
  • Served on various Chapter Committees, including the Board of Directors.
  • And so much more!!!
